STEMONA (Stemona sessilifolia) has an anti-microbial and anti-parasitic effect, traditionally used for coughing due to wind cold, whooping cough, tuberculosis, senile coughing and wheezing, roundworms, parasites, scabies and eczema, to moisten the lung, and to kill insects and worms.

WORMWOOD (Artemisia absinthium) has been used medically as a tonic, stomachic, febrifuge and anthelmintic. Wormwood was used by traditional herbalists to improve digestion, fight worm infestations, and stimulate menstruation. It was also regarded as a useful remedy for liver & gallbladder problems.

BRUCEA (Brucea javanica) is antiparasitic and has been used in traditional Chinese medicine to treat a number of health problems, including malaria, chronic diarrhea, dysentery, fevers, and warts.

PULSATILLA (Pulsatilla chinensis) is an antimicrobial plant used to detoxify fire poison, may treat dysentery, diarrhea, abdominal pain, and tenesmus.

PICRASMA (picrasma excelsa) is useful for poor appetite caused by gastric debility. Its active principle, quassin, is believed by some to act as a stimulant to the salivary, hepatic, and renal secretions. In studies, quassia derived from other species has been shown to be antimicrobial, antifungal and to protect from ulcers.

ACACIA (Acacia catechu) is sometimes used as a sore throat remedy. Other uses include gingivitis, colitis, diarrhea, and epistaxis (nose bleeding). In Asian medicine, it has also been recommended for diabetes, skin diseases, toothaches, and also to treat inflammation in the mouth.

HEDYOTIS (Hedyotis diffusa) is an antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and hepatoprotective herb used as an anticancer, AIDS, and immunostimulant.

YARROW (Achillea millefolium) is an antimicrobial and antioxidant plant used for wound healing, bleeding, melancholy, pain relief, headache, fever, stimulant, and sleep aid. Some therapeutic uses include severe colds, fever, obstructed perspiration, measles and eruptive diseases, and bleeding hemorrhoids.

DILL (Anethum graveolens) has mild antimicrobial activity shown to be effective against yeast and molds and to inhibit the reproduction of fleas. It is used for colic, insomnia, and as a lactation stimulant.
